Dale Mathews, one of the Christian Music Industry’s leading Music Publishing executives, is the Senior Vice President of Word Music Publishing and Word Music and Church Resources. With a career spanning 3 decades he is a passionate voice in the Christian Music publishing arena, and has built and managed some of the most successful Print Music operations in the industry. While under his leadership, publishing companies have had such distinctions as being named Billboard’s Gospel Music Publisher of the Year 4 times, 5 times named BMI’s Christian Music Publisher of the Year, Multiple ASCAP Christian Music Publisher of the Year awards, and GMA’s Song of the Year honors, to name just a few highlights. He has had the privilege of being the publisher for artists such as Francesca Battistelli, Big Daddy Weave, Jars of Clay, Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Fred Hammond, Third Day, Laura Story, and Jamie Grace, while also managing the song catalogs of some of Christian Music’s most esteemed songwriters.

A strong advocate for the contemporary evangelical church market, he continues to provide leadership and innovation in the area of church choir products and other church music resources. Throughout his career he has served on the board of directors for such organizations as GMA, GMA Foundation, the CMPA-Action Fund, and the CCLI Advisory Council. He has, three times, served as President of the Church Music Publishers Association.
